Taco Sunday.

What better way to end the week than with some halal tacos? Aisyah was craving Mexican so we decided to give Afterwit a try and we were pleasantly surprised! It doesn't look like much from the outside but this place offers an extensive menu of tacos, quesadillas and burritos.

We didn't read any reviews prior to our visit so we went with our gut and ordered the Lime Butter Crab soft tacos and Quesadilla con Pato Ahumado (Smoked Duck). OMG, they were delish af. Especially the quesadilla, I wonder what gave the tortilla its pink color. If there's any Afterwit staff reading this, please comment below. Also, I'm a sucker for good natural lighting to take photos in so I was extremely thankful for their outdoor “seats” (oil drums with high chairs, really.)

As there are many items on their menu that I have yet to try (but would love to), I think it's safe to say, this won't be my last visit. Come on, they have nasi lemak burrito!

Fun fact: this place opens daily and is owned by the amigos behind (working title) cafe along Arab Street!
