Welcome to The Future.
Can someone transport me back to London? Or Seoul? This cunt of a weather in Singapore makes me miss the cold in the Northern Hemisphere so much. I can't believe my next flight out to somewhere brrr is in mid-February, such agony! Look, if it gets too cold you just layer up and grab some heat packs. It doesn't work quite the same way if you want to beat the heat.
My favorite way to keep warm is getting a glass of cortado, along with something to satisfy my sweet tooth. During my stay in London last month, I did exactly that, over at the Shoreditch Grind. There was an entire wooden tray of raspberry and custard tarts shouting out at me, and I couldn't resist. My only regret was skipping the red velvet cake, just look at that frosting and those red sprinkles!
I took a walk around the Hoxton/Shoreditch districts, and it was quite interesting to explore somewhere off the beaten track. Sure, I met some strange people (hipsters?) while I was there but I also discovered many nice “holes in the wall”. One of these “holes” was The Ginger Pig Cafe, where I had the best pulled pork on toast.
Of course, I wouldn't end my day without a well-deserved dessert. The famous Swedish bakery, Fabrique, was just around the corner (7 minutes walk). There were piles of breads and pastries that were baked on-site, but what caught my eye was their Cardamom Bun. Let me just say, if you're a fan of masala chai, you will f*cking LOVE this! There was a guy beside me who licked the cardamom sugar off his post-nomz empty plate, YES, it was that good.

P.S.: Reservist training starts next week, so I will be on a possible hiatus. All social media should still be semi-active though, so keep checking!
